Peoria County is a county located in North Central Illinois, with its county seat in Peoria. Known as the Heart of Illinois, Peoria County is at the center of a multiple county region along the Illinois River midway between Chicago and St. Louis. Peoria County combines big city assets with a small town lifestyle and is an attractive location for new businesses.
