Aledo Community Unit School District 201

Aledo Community Unit School District 201 recognizes that children excel when parents work closely with teachers and principals to develop strong partnerships. As partners in education, parents, guardians, and other family members have certain rights and responsibilities. School officials believe that a positive and collaborative relationship between the school, parents and community is vital to our children’s academic, social and emotional growth and well being. The educational programs should be designed to meet the present and future needs of all learners. All learners should have the skills necessary to feel comfortable using technology for personal, educational and vocational pursuits. District wide the technology department is constantly striving to enhance the skills and abilities of the teachers in the area of technology integration. Through staff development, committee based discussions and budgetary support they attempt to always improve the technology offerings available to the student body.
