Brownstown Community Unit School District 201

The Brownstown Community Unit School District 201 provides students in the community with a quality education to ensure that each student has the chance to succeed at his or her potential. The mission of the district is to provide all the educational tools needed with current technologies as the forefront while encouraging students to develop practical as well as technological skills to ensure that every student is prepared for the fast paced and ever changing world in which we live.

The village of Brownstown is proud of the schools in the district and provide their support in various ways to ensure that all students have the resources needed to succeed. The community supports other educational programs such as the local library, local churches, and community service organizations that help to provide students with education tools as well as social opportunities to help the community and the children grow.
