East Peoria School District 86 meets the educational need of each student by providing standards aligned curriculum and differentiated instruction to ensure maximum student growth as measured by research-based assessments. They continue to establish and maintain a positive school culture and climate for students and staff that is safe and conducive to learning. The East Peoria School District invites parents to get involved and firmly believes its right, as parents can contribute to the success of the school to help guide the school board to ensure all students receive the best education possible while maintaining a social environment for the students to learn and grow into mature upstanding citizens. Staff members show a personal interest in developing students’ independent and creative thought, willingness to accept intellectual risks and challenges, forming superior work habits and cooperative, positive approaches to learning.
