Flanagan Community Unit School District 4 offers 4 programs of study: a basic course, a general course, a vocational or technical course and a college-bound course. An advanced-placement program allows college-bound students to attain college credits in English, chemistry, biology, calculus, computer science, U.S. history, French, art, government, physics and modern European history. The educational needs of all students are identified and addressed by providing a broad range of high quality services. A written plan, which is developed through a joint effort by the District staff and member school districts, provides educational opportunities and support for parents and students. The Flanagan Community Unit School District takes pride in its school programs. Families are very involved, working collaboratively with school personnel to provide a quality education for the community’s youth. The administration, faculty, and staff are dedicated to the cause of student achievement as reflected in the success rate of students meeting and/or exceeding the state standards
