Heritage Community Unit School District 8

Heritage Community Unit School District is located in Homer Illinois and offers educational opportunities to students in the area through three schools. The district is proud of every student in their community and provides the support needed to ensure the success of all students.

The schools are home in both Homer and Broadlands, Illinois along the east branch of the Embarras River. The community is a close-knit society therefore the district provides the same atmosphere with students beginning in one school and graduating to the next level with the same classmates. The district can provide small classrooms in which to provide students with a nurturing environment in which to learn and to excel in all they desire. The district strives to ensure that parents are involved via telephone, clubs, and newsletters.
