Lisbon Community Consolidated School District 90 has developed and implements a plan to ensure all teachers are fully implementing the aligned curriculum, instruction, and assessment program using proven strategies and data-driven decisions. There is a vast range of literary genres and other materials are used, and instruction varies from full class to small groups to individualized work. Students are taught to understand mathematics by communicating and reasoning mathematically, by applying mathematics in real-world settings and by solving problems through the integrated study of number systems, geometry, measurement, probability, data collection and analysis. The Lisbon Community Consolidated School District 90 follows the State Board adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school system starting at pre-school age and up to the 21 year old that want to continue their education.
