New Holland-Middletown District 88 has integrated and modeled character traits of respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, honesty, fairness and citizenship. The staff is supported with extensive staff development programs and improvements to school facilities have enhanced their learning and work environments, while making the facilities a more striking aspect of the community. Teaching strategies are based on fundamental building blocks, designed to help them become independent and mature. These blocks support good personal traits like; gaining independence, becoming problem solvers, being good members of a community, and studying and learning in groups or by themselves. New Holland-Middletown District has a high interest in academics, the arts and athletics, and shows strong support for the school system. The staff believes in proudly sharing and celebrating the differences in all students while striving to ensure that all students and staff feel like an integral part of the school family.
