Nippersink School District 2

Nippersink School District 2 has aligned their curriculum and instruction with common embedded assessments is their long-range school improvement plan for the district. They support the academic accomplishment of all students at the maximum level. As a result of our recent curriculum audit, unit guides are being developed including the following components: alignment with all important standards, common formative assessment items, common summative assessment items, teaching strategies demonstrating best practices and staff training for new materials, new units and assessment development and use. The district recognizes the need to provide access to the global community for staff and students. The enhancement of the distance learning capabilities and the opportunity to participate in online web classes will provide the students with additional academic opportunities.
