Prairie Grove School District 46

Prairie Grove School District 46 Teachers work to prepare each child to have the skills needed to continue their learning throughout life. The focus of their instructional approach is to put into place a program that helps each child grow based upon baseline data gathered by assessing student performance using local assessments, the IOWA basic skills test and the Illinois Standards Achievement Test. There is a shared sense of the significance of local history, the importance of families, and the involvement of people of all ages in the community and the schools. Prairie Grove has comprehensive academic programs provide each student with a strong foundation in the core curricula areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. The physical education, health, music, art, library and their technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction.
