Virden Community Unit School District 4

Virden Community Unit School District 4 system expects regular attendance from all students in accordance with the following rules and laws of the State of Illinois. The district teachers all understand the importance of establishing a climate to learn and a climate where students are able to attain academic success because they are comfortable socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment. Physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning. The community spirit has promoted a sense of commitment to the school district, which serves as a community center and a source of pride for all.
